Learn the secrets of a well-made stained glass box. You'll learn to make a box with a simple hinge. You'll be amazed at the beautiful boxes you can make with glass. This is a fast paced class, so students should know how to cut glass, foil and solder.
  • 4 Bevels, Mirror and hinges used in the base of the box are included...Other Materials like: Lid Glass, extra Bevels, feet, chain and other items are EXTRA
  • Use of glass equipment (ie: cutters, soldering irons) is included...(as is foil, solder, patina & flux)

BEGINNING STAINED GLASS: COPPER FOIL TECHNIQUE
4-week class (once a week for 3 hours)

​Learn the basic concepts of stained glass using the copper foil technique.

In this 4-day class you will gain an understanding of basic stained glass tools and learn simple techniques to complete your first project. You will learn how to cut glass, prepare your pieces and assemble your project using the copper foil technique. Once it is assembled, you will also learn to finish, clean and patina your project. 

Use of tools and all glass are included in price (you get to keep; standard glass cutter, exacto type knife, fid and safety glasses)

Each student will walk away with a completed panel! 
  • No experience is required.

STAINED GLASS CLASSES

INTERMEDIATE STAINED GLASS: LEAD TECHNIQUE

5-week class (once a week for 3 hours)
Cost: $95               (Wednesday Evenings)
Date: May 22nd, 29th & June 5th, 12th & 19th (if needed)

Construct an elegant window with lead channel (or came). Learn the complete lead came process, from basic construction and cementing to tips on design, reinforcement and installation. 
  • Beginning Stained Glass (or proof of BSG and glass cutting skills ) is required
  • Bring your existing tools (glass, bevels, jewels, rondels and any other glass related items, must be purchased)
  • We only supply pattern, lead and finishing materials
  • CALL TO MAKE RESERVATIONS - Seat will only be held if you pre-paid before class date.
